Your privacy matters. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use this site or submit the contact form, for what purpose, on what legal basis and what rights you can exercise.
1. Data controller
- Controller: Jaccode (United States)
- Processing operated from: Spain (European Union), Johann Alejandro Castañeda Guerrero
- Contact: johanncast.jc@gmail.com
2. What data we process
Through the consulting form you may provide:
- Contact details: name, email address and, optionally, phone number and company or project.
- Information about your inquiry: type of need, technical area, size and type of environment, urgency and the case description you write.
Your request is recorded on this site so that it can be managed and answered. We ask that you do not include passwords, credentials, IP addresses, internal configurations or third-party personal data in the description. For technical reasons, the hosting provider may record the IP address in the server logs; this site's application does not store your IP (it only uses it temporarily and anonymously to limit automated submissions). This site does not use analytics or tracking cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
3. What we use your data for
Used solely to handle and assess your consultation request, respond to you, and, where applicable, take the next steps in the professional relationship. They are not used for advertising, nor are automated profiles created.
4. Legal basis
For data subjects in the European Union, the legal basis is your consent, which you give by checking the box and submitting the form (art. 6.1.a of the GDPR). If your request involves taking steps prior to a possible engagement, the processing necessary to handle it may also be based on the implementation of pre-contractual measures requested by you (art. 6.1.b of the GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
5. For how long
We retain your data for as long as necessary to handle your request. If it does not lead to a professional relationship, it is deleted within a maximum of 12 months; if it does, it is retained for the duration of that relationship and, afterwards, for the periods legally required (tax and commercial).
6. Recipients and providers
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. It is only accessed by the providers necessary to deliver the service (for example, the web hosting and email provider), which act as data processors following our instructions and with the safeguards required by the regulations.
7. International transfers
Since the site owner is based in the United States and some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, your data could be transferred to third countries. In such cases, the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR apply (such as standard contractual clauses or a recognized adequacy framework). You may request more information about these safeguards at the contact email address.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability, as well as withdraw your consent. To do so, write to the contact email indicating the right you wish to exercise; we may ask you to prove your identity.
If you reside in the European Union and consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (https://www.aepd.es).
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. The form incorporates measures against automated submission and validation of the data received.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to adapt it to regulatory changes or changes in the operation of the site. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
